Prior to establishing Empire State Pain & Neuro, Dr. Theagene strengthened his knowledge of physiatry as a Staff Physician with the Pain Management Center of New Jersey and also served as a founder, Partner, and Medical Director of the Pain and Neuromuscular Clinic of Texas. A resident of Texas for over 15 years, Samuel Theagene was the Medical Director for multiple organizations there, including TRISUN Healthcare and the International Neurosurgical Clinic of San Antonio.
In addition to his work in private practice, Samuel Theagene has contributed to the training of the next generation of medical professionals as an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York. He conducted many tutorial sessions with the use of cadavers and has taught on the subjects of stoichiometry, dosing, electromyography, and nomenclature. A multilingual physician, Dr. Theagene is available to patients who wish to speak English, Spanish, or French.
