About Salah Izzedin
Salah Izzedin founded the traditional Brazilian steakhouse restaurant chain, Texas de Brazil. Since its establishment in 1998, Salah Izzedin has maintained his restaurant as a family-owned and operated business, offering an exciting fine-dining experience.
A graduate of the Columbia Business School at Columbia University, Salah Izzedin holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, Salah Izzedin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). After completing his MBA, Salah Izzedin undertook several entrepreneurial ventures. His first leap into business was the launching Latina Fuel Corporation in 1972 with two colleagues. After building Latina Fuel Corporation into a leading representative of American oil companies in Central and South America, Salah Izzedin then took on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of the European oil company, Oceanic Oil Corporation.
In addition to working in the oil and restaurant industries, Salah Izzedin conducted an entrepreneurial project in the entertainment industry for a short while before dedicating his career to developing Texas de Brazil.
