About Salah Izzedin

The founder of Texas de Brazil, Salah Izzedin has enjoyed a long career spanning several fields, including the oil industry, entertainment and the restaurant business. Salah Izzedin received a Master of Business Administration from the Columbia Business School at Columbia University and also trained as a certified public accountant.


Salah Izzedin’s first entrepreneurial endeavor was in collaboration with two colleagues to establish the Latina Fuel Corporation. Under the leadership of Salah Izzedin, the company expanded rapidly, representing major American oil companies throughout Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, and Columbia. After dedicating ten years to Latina Fuel Corporation, Salah Izzedin became the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Oceanic Oil Corporation while also delving into the entertainment industry. Launching a popular business with locations in Dallas and Houston, Salah Izzedin soon garnered attention from the Rich and Famous section of Lifestyles Magazine.


After several years of work in the entertainment field, Salah Izzedin shifted to the restaurant business. In 1998, Salah Izzedin founded the Texas de Brazil Corporation in Addison, Texas. The restaurant idea proved popular and quickly grew into multiple locations nationally. Recently, Salah Izzedin expanded Texas de Brazil’s reach internationally, starting an Aruba-based restaurant in the Caribbean.
