Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, Ryan Verra races single-seater, open-wheel formula cars as a competitor in the United States’ F2000 Mazda Road to Indy series. This ladder system has been sanctioned by the Indy Racing League (otherwise known as INDYCAR), and allows drivers to compete on the same tracks as top Indy racers. Ryan Verra has been employed as a professional race driver for Team Alliance Autosport since March of 2013.
In his rookie year, Mr. Verra finished second in the National Class IRL USF2000 series. His career accomplishments include two wins, 12 podiums, one pole position, and two fastest laps. Moreover, his current race win percentage stands at 7.14.
Off the racetrack, Ryan Verra is a business professional and entrepreneur with training in mixed martial arts. In earlier years, he learned to channel his motivation into mixed martial arts, ultimately achieving success in the sport. It was later that he developed an interest in driving Indy cars.
