RSA Academy - Products and Services:     

Co-founded by Adam Hurstfield, the RSA Academy in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is a training ground for young people seeking training in singing and acting. Students are admitted on the basis of their talent, and the mandatory audition plays an important role in the selection process. The academy also looks for students with the determination and commitment to succeed, believing that a combination of these three factors trumps experience. Students at the RSA Academy are encouraged to continually hone and expand their acting and singing abilities, and not to view their training as static. RSA Academy students who demonstrate outstanding talent and drive will have the opportunity to appear on television and meet with representatives from record labels. The academy also makes occasional scholarships available. The current success of the RSA Academy has encouraged its founders to plan additional campuses in London, Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong, and New York.
The RSA Academy instructors are professionals who have worked in the music and film industry. Their experience and teaching gives students insights into the variety of skills necessary to become a successful actor or singer. Adam Hurstfield, for example, has recorded hits for PolyGram, BMG, and Universal Music Group, is an award-winning songwriter, the Music Supervisor and Co-Producer of Beverly Hills Ninja 2, in addition to serving as the Executive Vice President of RockSTAR Music Corp. Classes at the RSA Academy aim to impart this versatility to students. Singers train in dance, choreography, studio recording, image styling, and music video production, emerging from RSA Academy as unique, well-rounded performers. The RSA Academy offers a similarly broad range of classes to acting students, including cold reading, character development, branding, improvisation, and on-set television training.
