A long-time resident of Snohomish County, Washington, business professional Roy Gursli actively supports his community and provides various services to the county at large. Currently, Roy Gursli serves as a Real Estate Broker for Champions Real Estate Services in Lynnwood, helping people buy and sell homes and commercial properties throughout the Snohomish and King Counties. Roy Gursli possesses prior experience in real estate, working as a Sales Associate at Sutton Real Estate, Inc. in nearby Mill Creek. Prior to his established career in real estate, Roy Gursli served Goodrich Aerospace in Everett for 18 years, performing a variety of services from aircraft repair to project management. Roy Gursli holds an Associate of Applied Science from Big Bend Community College and various real estate and aircraft licenses. He has also worked as a liaison to engineers throughout the years. As a member of the Snohomish community, Roy Gursli regularly donates during local blood drives, often donating blood six times or more per year. Proud to serve Edmonds Community College in southern Snohomish County, where he completed general studies and took courses in business project management, Roy Gursli was directly involved in events promoting Bike To Work Day in 2009. Working with and encouraging Snohomish County’s largest employers, the Bike to Work event is designed to reduce traffic and promote exercise. Roy Gursli also regularly co-sponsors the local art walk, which allows local and high school artists to display their works in Downtown Edmonds, in addition to other seasonal events and food drives. This will be Roy Gursli's second year involved in the art walk, which will focus primarily on local student art for 2011. Along with his exceptional community service, Roy Gursli supports charities such as Children’s Hospital, the United Way, and the American Federation for the Blind. Residing in Lynnwood, Roy Gursli is an avid outdoorsman, a hobby stemming from his time in the Boy Scouts of America and enhanced by his time serving on commercial fishing boats in Alaska’s Bristol Bay. Roy Gursli regularly enjoys hiking, camping, boating, fishing, and swimming, especially with friends and family. In the mountains, Roy Gursli also participates in downhill and cross-country skiing. Roy Gursli frequently visits parts of western Canada, the northwest United States, and Scandinavia, where he is originally from.
