Born and raised in New Jersey, Rory Vogel is a student of Bergen Community College's Paramus campus. Graduating from Holmstead School in Ridgewood, New Jersey in 2008, Rory Vogel is currently working toward a liberal arts degree. After finishing her liberal arts degree, Rory Vogel is considering future career options such as attending culinary school to become a chef. Alternatively, Rory Vogel's teachers have suggested that she become a film historian, due to her love of both contemporary and classic cinema. Before enrolling in college, Rory Vogel worked with Supreme Brands Inc., motivating team members and working to evaluate and compare upcoming products with those of existing competitors.
One of Rory Vogel’s passions is reading. When she was in elementary school, Rory Vogel belonged to a reading club that evaluated titles, and she completed a challenge to read 100 books. Among others, Rory Vogel lists her favorite books as The Shining, by Stephen King; The Associate, by John Grisham; The Divine Comedy, by Dante Alighieri; The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde; The Incredible Shrinking Man, by Richard Matheson; and Choke, Fight Club, and Invisible Monsters, by Chuck Palahniuk. As an animal lover, Rory Vogel has had a wide variety of pets, including cats, hamsters, dogs, iguanas, toads, frogs, and fish. Rory Vogel also supports such charities as the World Wildlife Fund and Greenpeace. Enjoying the music of Chiodos, Those Mockingbirds, Fractured, Wu-Tang Clan, Washington Square Park, and The Exotic Aquatic, Rory Vogel is a fan of numerous musical styles, from dubstep and dancehall to hardcore, punk, metal, rockabilly, hip-hop, rap, and rock. When staying in, Rory Vogel enjoys watching current television programs such as NCIS, In Treatment, Bored to Death and True Blood.
