Ron Kluber

Ron Kluber is an intelligent poker player who gained recognition with an impressive performance at the 38th Annual World Series of Poker, held in 2007, in Las Vegas. This American national is also known by the name, “The Colonel”, a reference to his past career with the US Army as Lieutenant Colonel and is currently staying in Seoul, South Korea. Ron Kluber works there in the capacity of Senior Intelligence Analyst; no wonder he is an intelligent poker player who reads the game well.

Ron Kluber started playing poker in the year 1993, though it has remained a hobby for him, a game he plays in his free time. Not being a regular face on the professional poker scene did not stop Ron Kluber from displaying excellent poker skills at the No Limit Hold'em Championship of the 38th WSOP Event where he outsmarted many experienced poker professionals and survived long enough to finish in the money. The event ended with Kluber in 29th position, putting him on the world poker map and fetching him a cool $285,678 as prize money.
