About Rodney Davis
Skilled and respected physician’s assistant Rodney Davis began the path to his nine-year career in various sectors of medical practice by attending Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1998. Following the completion undergraduate degree, Rodney Davis enrolled in the physical therapy program at Touro College in Bay Shore, New York. After 1 year, he subsequently enrolled in the College’s physician’s assistant program, and earned his degree in 2002. Subsequently, Rodney Davis gained employment in the field of emergency medicine by serving as an Urgent Care PA for the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York, while simultaneously working in a sports medicine position at The City College of New York in Brooklyn.
In 2004, Rodney Davis transferred to the field of orthopedic surgery by serving as a Surgical and Clinical Assistant with Brookhaven Orthopedic Associates, a firm located in East Patchogue, New York. During this time, Rodney Davis assisted in the facilitation of various medical procedures pertaining to conditions as diverse as joint replacements, sports medicine, hand surgery, arthroscopy, and other topics. From 2007 through 2010, Rodney Davis held positions with cosmetic surgery firms in both San Diego and Beverly Hills, seeing to outpatient procedures. Since September 2010, Rodney Davis has held the role of the Director of Liposculpture at Pacific Liposculpture, Inc., a company based out of San Diego. Utilizing specialized training in lipo that he received in Beverly Hills, Rodney Davis has performed more than 10,000 lipo procedures during his career.
Rodney Davis possesses medical licenses to practice in both New York and California, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He holds a permit from the Drug Enforcement Administration, has advanced cardiovascular life support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and actively participates in the California Academy of Physician Assistants. Rodney Davis is also fluent in Spanish and English. Knowledgeable in a range of matters, including malpractice insurance and infectious disease, Rodney Davis supports various charitable and philanthropic organizations, including The Salvation Army and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
