I have worked in the Social Care sector for a number of years, helping a number of Council's transform their Adult Social Care teams to help them deliver their services using Personal Budgets.  I have also worked for the Department of Health's Care Services Efficieincy Delivery Team (CSED), working with Council's throughout the South West to transform their in-house domiciliary care services into reablement services.

 

My wife and I decided to set up choosemycare.com to help people find the care and support services they need, as well as to help care service providers to adapt their businesses to the changing shape of the care marketplace, as it has been my experience that care service providers are generally short changed by Council's, who generally have very little concept of how businesses are run
