About Rob Johnson
On October 22, 1988 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin hip-hop gave birth too a Risin’ Star. Rob “Richie Rich” Johnson started rapping at the tender age of 6. One day he showed his uncle a poem he had gotten a “A” on and it was then his uncle realized that the poems the youngster was writing had a certain swag to them. Rich uncle entered into a local talent show 3 years later after he realized that his advanced vocabulary and spectacular lyrics only seemed to get better with age and could make him Rich. 7 years went past and not one label picked up on the talent that the kid had. In 2003 Richie Rich started his own independent label “Risin’ Star Ent” which consisted of him and a group of friends [Da Trend Settaz] he met over the years who he felt could help him reach the top. NOW the year is 2007 and Richie Rich has decided that only one person can help him reach the top and that’s HIM!!! His talented lyrics and unique swag have others comparing him too this years Self-proclaimed best rapper alive Lil Wayne.
