A college basketball coach with 25 years of experience in her field, Robin Potera-Haskins brings an uncommon level of tenacity and dedication to her work at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. After high school, Robin Potera-Haskins enrolled at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, where she majored in physical education. Upon receipt of her Bachelor’s degree from Evangel University in 1984, Robin Potera-Haskins moved to Nacogdoches, Texas, to pursue graduate studies in physical education at Stephen F. Austin State University. During this time, Robin Potera-Haskins gained formative coaching experience as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team and performed duties related to student-athlete recruitment. Robin Potera-Haskins earned her Master’s degree in Physical Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1985, whereupon she relocated to Irving, Texas, and became the Head Freshman Women’s Basketball Coach and Physical Education Teacher at Nimitz High School. Winning the district championship in 1986, Robin Potera-Haskins spent the next two years as Head Sophomore Coach, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, and Physical Education Teacher at Nimitz High School. Owing to Robin Potera-Haskins’ strong performance in these roles, Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Dallas recruited her in 1988 to serve as Physical Education Teacher and Head Women’s Basketball Coach, a position that included oversight of all varsity, junior varsity, and freshman programs. During her time at Wilmer-Hutchins High School over the next 6 years, Robin Potera-Haskins amassed a record of 131-50, won multiple district championships, and gained statewide recognition for her work as a coach. From there, Robin Potera-Haskins went on to teach and coach at the collegiate level and held positions at Austin College, Texas Wesleyan University, Montana State University, Winthrop University, and Louisiana College from 1994 to 2007. Since then, Robin Potera-Haskins has served as Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Women’s Administrator and Head Women’s Basketball Coach for Palm Beach Atlantic University and most recently became Head Women's Basketball Coach at Linfield College. At present, Robin Potera-Haskins resides in the Portland, Oregon area.
