During more than 40 years practicing orthopedic medicine, Dr. Robert Schull affiliated with numerous professional organizations. As the President of Massachusetts-based Orthopedic Specialists Inc. from 1969 to 2003, Dr. Robert Schull was a prominent specialist in the New England medical community. A member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, New England Orthopaedic Society, Eastern Orthopaedic Association, and other similar groups throughout his career, Dr. Robert Schull committed his energy and resources to the advancement of orthopedic medicine. Dr. Robert Schull started Orthopedic Specialists Inc. in 1969 as a private practice with highly trained orthopedic surgeons. In addition to operating the practice, Dr. Robert Schull and his colleagues provided service at a pair of local hospitals. Practicing at Brockton Hospital and Cardinal Cushing Hospital, Dr. Robert Schull and the other specialists were responsible for all orthopedic patients in the ER unit, a Level 2 Trauma Center. In the years prior to joining Orthopedic Specialists Inc., Dr. Robert Schull enlisted in the United States Army Medical Corps and performed operations as a Captain at the McDonald Army Hospital in Virginia for two years. After graduating with an M.D. from The George Washington University with distinction, Dr. Robert Schull completed an internship and two residencies at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn. Now retired, Dr. Robert Schull enjoys spending his free time at the BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he is an equity member. Dr. Robert Schull plays golf and bridge, and reads books by his favorite authors, including David McCullough, Nelson DeMille, and Malcolm Gladwell.
