An alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, Roberto Garza Delgado studied mechanical engineering. Upon receiving his bachelor of science, he was admitted into the university’s graduate program, where he earned his master of business administration. Roberto Garza Delgado then joined Alfa Corp., a company based in Monterrey, Mexico. Over the course of 18 years, he served as a finance manager and supported the organization’s financial and insurance product initiatives. Today, he is the president and chief executive officer of Gard Corporation, a business he founded in 1999 in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Mexico.
Mr. Delgado is member of the Latin American and Caribbean Advisory Council to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Kellogg Advisory Council for the College of Business Administration. In addition, he sits on the board of Banca Serfin, Universidad Regiomontana, and the Young Presidents Organization of Mexico. His other affiliations include the Mendoza College of Business and CAINTRA.
