Robert Mansueto DDS is a pioneer in the field of implant dentistry and dental research, and has a rather diverse and interesting background, and talents in many areas. He started having practice in the U.S. Navy after having attended dental school at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry on a Full Navy Scholarship program, graduating with honors in 1976. He  was the youngest graduating DDS in the Nation age 23. He was accepted to Dental School after er completing just 3 years of undergraduate study at USC in Los Angeles. “Dr Bob” as his friend call him, also played Football for the Trojans at USC , and was also involved in music recording in Hollywood, as an accomplished musician (guitar and singing) since childhood.  After Dental School, he picked back up is Music Carrier and made his own CD and produced several others for well known friends, forming his own record label, Silver Strand records

 DR Bob somehow was fortunate  enough to have met and played with some of the most well known musicians in the world, including the immortal Joe Pass, and Larry Carlton (of Steely Dan Fame) as well as the back up singers, the Waters…who performed on his album and that also  work with such well known artists as Paul Simon and Kenny Logins.

Dr Bob Mansueto was born a son of a Naval Officer/aviator in Oakland California. As such, he moved around the country with his parents and sisters every two years, as Military families are required to do.  During childhood he excelled in all sports that he tried…a natural athlete. He joined Boy Scouts while living on a navy Base in El Centro, and also started playing guitar at age 10 with some friends there.  He joined his first band in 7^th grade and also stayed in Scouting, becoming  an Eagle Scout before moving his focus to High School athletics and more Music endeavors . He was lead guitarist in several bands in Coronado, starting when he was only in 8^th  grade!   The most well known was one he helped to start in  his sophomore year, the West Coast Iron Works Band, often performing with brother of Jim Morrison (from the Doors) …with occasional visits from Jim himself   His High school era bands may be viewed at www.CoronadoBands.com

 Robert Mansueto DDS went onto dental school at aearly age, having graduated High school at age 17, and completing college at USC in 3 years, before being accepted to several dental schools, before choosing UOP in San Francisco. He went on to  make  tremendous contributions in the field of implant dentistry, inventing, developing and  introducing a new revolutionary, easy to use implant system, named DICOIOA   and can be seen at www.dicoaimplants.com  and has also helped many other dentists around the world to improve their ability to help others in a significant way.   This system is gaining popularity worldwide. DR Bob has made a point to donate his time and efforts to help bring this system and technology and knowledge to several 3^rd world countries, by volunteering time in Mexico, Antigua, and soon to go to Angola as a guest of the Angola Government.

 He was also the first dentist to bring forth dental treatment for successful migraine headache symptoms, via use of dental bite correction and a special bite guard for intra- oral use.
