About Robert Cucuel
Over the course of his career, Robert Cucuel has garnered extensive experience as a business executive, overseeing acquisitions, mergers, investments, and sales of companies. Possessing business acumen, Robert Cucuel pursued his academic endeavors at Boston College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Robert Cucuel then served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Air Products Healthcare, one of the top five home care providers in the U.S. market, where he currently works. Utilizing technological advancements, Air Products Healthcare offers products such as the CareCert Solution from Trac Medical Solutions, Inc., to facilitate the administration of home care. In 2006, Robert Cucuel founded Critical Homecare Solutions, Inc. within the portfolio of Kohlberg & Company, LLC, consolidating within the home infusion industry. As an industry leader, Cucuel was cited by The Wall Street Journal in a piece on Medicare patients who received home care.
Robert Cucuel later successfully negotiated the company’s $420 million sale to MBF Healthcare Acquisition Corp. Bioscrip, Inc. acquired Critical Homecare Solutions, Inc. in March 2010 for more than $350 million while Cucuel served as Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure in the home care industry, Robert Cucuel has played a leading role in upwards of 60 industry acquisitions. He currently works as Healthcare Operating Partner at Kohlberg & Company, LLC.
