About Rick Snyder
The current Chairman of IMCCA (Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Association), Rick Snyder also serves as the Vice President of Cisco System's Global Enterprise Partner Organization. In August 2011, Mr. Snyder was appointed to his current position after serving for a time as Vice President of Global Business, Telepresence Video Sales. In his new role, Rick Snyder leads the teams charged with building and managing strategic relationships with Cisco’s ecosystem partners and top systems integrators.
Previously, Rick Snyder's responsibilities as the Vice President of Global Business also included overseeing the integration of TANDBERG with Cisco Systems. Before being acquired by Cisco, Snyder served as TANDBERG's President of the Americas, where he helped grow the company’s revenue to over $1 billion, while reaching the number one market share position in all revenue categories. Snyder also served as CEO of leading videoconferencing distributor, ReView Video (now part of Westcon). Earlier in his career, Snyder worked for several prominent technology companies, including Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon), Executone Systems, and Octel.
After building his early career in sales leadership and general management positions, Snyder served in executive roles with Williams Communications/NextiraOne, an enterprise networking systems integrator, where he lent his talents as General Manager of Distribution and Senior Vice President of Professional Services. When away from his professional responsibilities, Rick Snyder enjoys spending time with his family in his community of Leesburg, Virginia.
