About Rick McMenimen
Balancing his thriving professional career in the insurance and financial services industry, Frederick McMenimen holds Level 5 Masters Coach status for USA Hockey, a national association of youth, college, and amateur leagues.
At USA Hockey, Frederick McMenimen is the IP Director for New Hampshire and a Select Coach. Frederick McMenimen teaches clinics for hockey coaches and is a coach and evaluator for the New Hampshire Select Festival. Frederick McMenimen coached high school hockey for 20 years prior to joining USA Hockey, where his team became the New Hampshire High School State Hockey Champion in 2001 and 2002.
Additionally, Frederick McMenimen has served as the President of NHL Skate at Exeter, a sports venture, where he was responsible for public relations, development strategies, construction planning, and traditional and non-profit financing methods. Through Frederick McMenimen’s efforts, the organization’s business valuations exceeded twice the expectations.
Concurrently, Frederick McMenimen held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at NHL Skate/Family Ice Enterprises in New York. Involved in budgeting activities, Frederick McMenimen worked with the Chief Executive Officer to develop facilities and grow NHL Skate into a $100 million company. As well, Frederick McMenimen co-founded the Seacoast Sportsplex Group, where he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner for over a decade, performing financial management, sales, and consulting.
Aside from overseeing sports business ventures, Frederick McMenimen has led a successful career in life insurance and financial planning, serving with prominent firms in the Boston, Massachusetts area. From 2000 to 2007, Frederick McMenimen operated his own Boston-based firm, Custom Financial LLC, where he provided training and consulting services to major banks and life insurance providers.
Frederick McMenimen has earned nationwide recognition as a top agent and a business leader. Noted for his recruiting practices and management mentoring, Frederick McMenimen has given over 300 recruitment and consumer seminars for the life insurance industry.
Frederick McMenimen received executive training from the Babson School of Executive Management and the Xerox School of Executive Education. Additionally, Frederick McMenimen completed numerous short-term training seminars and studied at the University of New Hampshire at Durham and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
