For example, we have recently introduced the dental Diagnodent Pen, which is used to find evidence of cavities even when they are hidden away from sight. The Pen is a dental device that produces different colors when it encounters different tooth conditions. It can find even the thiniest cavity, which means we can begin treatment at a very early stage. In addition, the technique is painless, non-invasive and avoids the use of x-rays.

Richmond Hill Dental also utilizes the Cerec 3D technology, which is the world's most advanced dental restoration system. To replace a metal filling with a beautiful inlary, for example, the prepared tooth is scanned by a special electronic camera and its precise dental image appears immediately on the computer monitor righ in the dentist operatory. The precise dental restoration is then fitted and bonded to you prepared tooth, all in less than an hour.

Give Back a Smile program was established by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry out of a desire to give something back to the community, specifically to help victims of unfortunate circumstances. More thatn 6,000 AACD dentists, dental lab technicians and other dental professionals have volunteered their time and expertise pro bono for Give Back a Smile program. Since the inception, 600 domestic abuse cases have been completed for a total dolar value of approximately 5 million dollars. This program is dedicated to providing cosmetic dental care at no cost to survivors of domestic violence.
