To prepare for his successful career, which has included a stint as the rock band The Killers’ personal chiropractor, Dr. Richard Rosen attended Indiana University in Bloomington, earning a BA in communications and culture with a minor in business and serving as a member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. Dr. Richard Rosen then earned his doctor of chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
In addition to serving as class president, Dr. Rosen worked in several healthcare settings while attending chiropractic school. He greeted patients and answered phones at Bergen Spine Center in Fairview, New Jersey, helped with insurance and management of treatment plans at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, and performed a wide range of physical therapy treatments at 7th Avenue Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in New York. Upon earning his doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Richard Rosen joined the latter facility as a chiropractor and treated patients there for over four years.
In 2011, Dr. Richard Rosen accepted a position with Downtown Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, where he performs the full spectrum of chiropractic care. Dr. Rosen’s whole-person approach includes physical manipulation of the muscles and bones, electrotherapy, heat and ice therapy, and lifestyle counseling.
