An operating engineer and maintenance professional specializing in sports arenas and equipment, Richard Framarin works for the National Hockey League (NHL) New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center in Newark. Commanding a long and impressive background as an operating engineer, Richard Framarin received his professional education through HVAC coursework provided by Fluke Corporation, ice management training at the School of Ice Technologies in Kansas City, and continuing studies at Local 68 of the International Union of Operating Engineers in New Jersey. A longtime member of Local 68, Richard Framarin has also served as Shop Steward, providing leadership and information to his fellow union members. As an operating engineer with the New Jersey Devils since June 2007, Richard Framarin manages all of the machinery utilized by the organization, including Zambonis and equipment used to regulate the temperature of the ice and the arena.
