Since 2010, Ricardo Pineda has served as vice president for Monster Cable Products, a Brisbane, California-based consumer electronics company that handles products from their conception to distribution. Prior to this, Ricardo Pineda was the senior director of test engineering and new product introduction at Jawbone (previously Aliph), the developer of the Jawbone Bluetooth headset.
In preparation for his work with firms like Monster Cable Products and Jawbone, Mr. Pineda earned a bachelor of science in industrial engineering from the Tijuana Technological Institute in Mexico. He later obtained a certificate in supply chain management from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
When not working, he enjoys giving back to the community in a variety of ways. He previously acted as a director and chairman of the board for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Additionally, he has a personal concern for how international business impacts the global environment and maintains an interest in sustainable initiatives technology. In 2009, the US Green Building Council named him a Certified Green Associate.
