Treating thousands of children and adults suffering from sinusitis and other related infections, Dr. Reuben Setliff serves as President of South Dakota’s Setliff Sinus Institute, formerly known as the Setliff Clinic. With locations in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Dakota Dunes, the Setliff Sinus Institute strives to help individuals obtain freedom from sinus complications. Prior to establishing his successful clinic, Dr. Reuben Setliff gained extensive medical knowledge during his impressive academic career. Reuben Setliff enrolled in classes at Little Rock’s University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, part of the principal biomedical research center and only teaching hospital in Arkansas. He received his Doctor of Medicine, paving the way for his remarkable success with the Setliff Sinus Institute. After graduation, Dr. Reuben Setliff accepted an internship with the university’s medical center, where he attained comprehensive knowledge in several aspects of medicine and pediatrics. Continuing his education, Dr. Reuben Setliff became a resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, located in a coastal town southeast of Houston. For 11 months, Dr. Reuben Setliff served the health care complex’s general surgery needs, gaining pertinent experience for his future endeavors. Reuben Setliff also maintained a three-year residency in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he concentrated on one of the most competitive residencies for aspiring physicians. Dr. Reuben Setliff later built on these experiences by joining the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
