A former member of the United States Air Force, Ray Landers served as a firefighter during the Vietnam War. Once his commitment to his country was fulfilled, Mr. Landers obtained ownership of a large grain-handling business, which earned revenues of more than $100 million. Ray Landers displayed adept business and leadership skills as head of the company. His experience prompted the establishment of a substantial real estate brokerage firm in the area south of Chicago, where he enjoyed tremendous success as a businessman.
In 1983, Mr. Landers and his family endured a financial catastrophe that resulted in a 2 million dollar cash loss in six weeks. The next five years were extremely trying for the family as they recovered from the hardship. During this period, Ray Landers set aside time to minister the Gospel of Christianity to people in Israel and the Middle East. He felt a calling to travel the world and teach the life lessons he had gained from his own experiences.
Ray Landers joined Next Generation Ministries International to devote his energy to his vocation full time. Now married for 40 years, Mr. Landers possesses a specific ability to help people understand the complexities of interpersonal relationships. He also has a unique insight into financial areas due to his business successes and failures. Mr. Landers counsels people concerning several kinds of life patterns, including compulsive habits, low self-esteem, workaholism, and lack of financial provision. He continues to live on his family farm in Auburn, Illinois, with his wife.
