Senior technology executive Rao Chalasani has enjoyed a long and successful career affiliated with some of the biggest names in the financial world. Rao Chalasani began his career with JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York in 1994 as Project Manager of International Capital Markets in the Global Derivatives Division. His many accomplishments at Chase included undertaking the Chase Leadership & Management Development Program, an 18-month venture in which he rotated through different departments and gained invaluable experience in the financial field. When Chalasani rotated through Chase Securities-Money Market Trading/Trade Support, he supervised loans processing, certificates of deposit, and asset sales, as well as assisted traders in resolving problems. His time in the Global Markets Risk Management division involved conducting research on the subject of value-at-risk systems and methodologies. When Rao Chalasani served Global Trade Finance's Business Process Re-Engineering Team, he coordinated with a consulting group to gather data, analyze workflow, and consolidate 21 letter-of-credit operations into three hubs. In the Technology Services Group, he helped integrate transaction processing from the Connecticut Regional Bank into the New York branch of Global Technology and Operations.

In 1996, Rao Chalasani assumed the position of Project Leader for SunGard's foreign exchange and money markets trading system, where he remained for a year. His next professional venture took him to Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., in 1997 as an Assistant Vice President, Capital Markets and Fixed Income Technology. Two years later, Chalasani was promoted to Vice President and Project Manager for the Global Fixed Income Technology /E-Commerce division, where he served until 2002.

In 2002, Rao Chalasani joined Deutsche Bank AG in New York as Vice President and Senior Project Manager of Global Markets-Derivatives Technology, a position he held until 2005. In 2005, he returned to Merrill Lynch to assume the role of Business Chief Technology Officer and Director of Risk Strategy for Credit, Real Estate, and Structured Products, and four years later, Chalasani was promoted to Business Chief Technology Officer and Director of Risk Strategy for Global Markets Trading Risk Management and was looking at Risk across Global equities and Fixed Income.

Rao Chalasani believes in giving back to the community, and to that end, he supports a number of worthy causes. He donates generously to Childreach International USA, Doctors Without Borders, United Nations Children's Fund, and the Sankara Eye Foundation. In addition, he worked with the charity Sakhi to establish the Swarna Chalasani Economic Empowerment Fund, which benefits underserved women.
