Dr. Randy Meltzer practices applied kinesiology, which is also referred to as Muscle Response Testing. Dr. Randy Meltzer trained at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Randy Meltzer has also studied herbal medicine, homeopathy, and Chinese meridian therapy. Chinese meridian therapy, a system of acupressure, works with the Chinese concept of meridians to balance the flow of energy, or qi, within the body. The same ideas that define acupuncture also form the basis for meridian therapy. Dr. Randy Meltzer also studied under the guidance of Dr. Bernard Jensen, the founder of Iridology. Dr. Bernard Jensen personally certified Dr. Randy Meltzer to practice Iridology, a system of examining and evaluating the irises of a patient's eyes to determine information about the patient's overall health.
After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Randy Meltzer began his practice at the Integral Yoga Institute in 1980 before leaving to open the Meltzer Natural Health Care Center.
