About Rafael Vitolas
Rafael Vitolas has accented a 15-year career as a high school and junior high coach and teacher of social studies with a two-year stint in inside sales. Currently a teacher of Advanced Placement and regular world geography at a San Antonio, Texas, high school, he instructs an average of 140 students a day and serves as coach for the golf program. His responsibilities as head golf coach for the past three years have included managing an annual boys and girls golf tournament to raise funds for the program and serving as a rules official for Junior Tour and Little Linksters tournaments. Mr. Vitolas possesses teaching certifications in Composite Social Studies and Gifted and Talented programs.
In the past, Rafael Vitolas has filled positions as a teacher and coach at various junior high and high schools in Texas. In addition to world geography, he has taught subjects such as American history and physical education. Mr. Vitolas has mentored teenage athletes in the sports of football, basketball, track, and golf.
From 2007 to 2009, Rafael Vitolas worked as an inside salesman for Dell, Inc., at its Round Rock, Texas, headquarters. Dell depended on him to manage the Microsoft volume license contract for the entire state of Texas.
As an undergraduate at Kansas State University, Rafael Vitolas earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and History. Later, he earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
