Rabbi Kedmi?s military service entailed taking part in the Israel Defense Forces, serving as Chaplain in the Reserves and during the Six Day War. Rabbi David Kedmi studied at Jerusalem?s Yeshivat Porat Yosef, and was ordained by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Rabbi Kedmi received his training as a Mohel under the supervision of the Chief Rabbinate. He had the privilege of studying under the leading Rabbis and Mohalim of Israel, and interned at major hospitals in Jerusalem. Once certified, Rabbi David Kedmi served as Mohel in Athens, Greece, where he also assisted the community Rabbi. Rabbi Kedmi next moved to the United States to continue his pursuit of Jewish scholarship and to learn more about the medically-advanced techniques in ritual circumcision being practiced by Mohalim in the U.S.

For 25 years now, Rabbi Kedmi has worked as a Mohel in the Greater New York City metropolitan area, serving people in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. His clients come from all areas of the Jewish community, including the Orthodox, Reform, and Conservative branches. He shows unsurpassed kindness, warmth, and professionalism in his work, and the families he serves appreciate the skill and care that he brings to the occasion.

Rabbi Kedmi enjoys many hobbies, including playing the drums, listening to music, attending Broadway musicals, watching action movies, reading about history and world events, and keeping up with issues of special concern to the Jewish community.
