R.C. Sproul, Jr. - Professional Summary:     

An author, teacher, and leader of Highlands Ministries in Virginia, R.C. Sproul Jr. has helped spread the word of God in New Zealand, Russia, Myanmar, and Israel. He frequently lectures at conferences, speaking on topics related to the family, homeschooling, and Christian education. R.C. Sproul Jr. has an academic background steeped in theology, philosophy, and literature. Beginning his education with Grove City College in 1982, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Literature four years later. Next studying to receive a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary, he completed the degree in 1991. After years leading a congregation and Christian ministry he founded, R.C. Sproul Jr. returned to study in 2001 at Whitefield Theological Seminary. He completed his Doctor of Ministry in Theology in 2002. The author and editor of many books, R.C. Sproul Jr.'s most recent publications include Believing God; Bound for Glory; After Darkness, Light: Essays in Honor of R.C. Sproul; and When You Rise Up: A Covenantal Approach to Homeschooling. R.C. Sproul Jr. contributes regularly to Ligonier Ministries’ magazine Tabletalk as a columnist and writes articles for Homeschooling Today magazine. R.C. Sproul Jr. also serves as a Teaching Fellow with Ligonier Ministries and as a Professor and Lecturer at Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies’ Reformation Bible College and its Doctor of Ministry program. In addition to helping fellow Christians better understand their faith, he enjoys spending time with family and homeschooling his eight children in Orlando, Florida.
