Prashant Pandya, D.M.D., is committed to providing excellence in the fields of advanced dentistry and oral and facial surgery. While completing his residency at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center’s Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Pandya conducted research on such topics as large lipomas of the neck and head, minimally invasive procedures to remove keratocysts in the upper and lower jaw, and endoscopic transmaxillary approaches to amend blowout fractures in the skull. Dr. Prashant Pandya, a knowledgeable dentist, presented these topics at the Jacksonville University of Florida Health Science Center on its annual Research Days. He also worked with other scholars in his field to publish “Pseudo Gout of the TMJ: A Review of the Literature and Case Report.”

Presently, Dr. Prashant Pandya serves as the owner and primary dentist at Manatee Oral & Facial Surgery Center. This practice is one of only a few in the Bradenton, Florida, area that specialize in advanced facial and oral surgery. Dr. Pandya, a skilled dentist, establishes detailed treatment plans with his patients, enabling their full recovery. He treats oral and skin cancer around the maxillofacial region and performs cosmetic, preventative, and restorative treatments as well. These include Botox injections, annual exams, the correction of bite defects, and wisdom teeth removal. Prashant Pandya, D.M.D., performs major procedures such as bone grafting at nearby medical institutions, including Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and Manatee Memorial Hospital. Dr. Pandya frequents the latter institution as he is an on-call surgeon for facial trauma cases.

Dr. Prashant Pandya serves as a member of numerous dental organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
