About Piper Abbate
Piper Abbate - Professional Summary: An award-winning photographer, retail purchasing agent, and event planner, Piper Abbate has built a career by successfully balancing her creative skills with her professional acumen. Currently, Piper Abbate attends the City College of San Francisco (CCSF), a school she selected after receiving letters of acceptance from Sonoma State University and Humboldt State University. Before that, she graduated from Top of the World Elementary in Laguna Beach, California, and attended summer school in Aix-en-Provence, a small city-commune located in the south of France.
After completing her first summer school stint in 2004, Piper Abbate matriculated at Thurston Middle School in Laguna Beach. Ms. Abbate then returned to Aix-en-Province to complete a second summer school session, after which she decided to stay in France to study at Lyc?e Hippolyte Fontaine in Dijon starting in the fall of 2007. Upon relocating to Southern California, Piper Abbate entered Laguna Beach High School, where she graduated in 2009. She finished off her high school career with a flourish, including achieving in the 95th percentile on the essay segment of the ACT.
In addition to working as a buyer at TrashPretty, a vintage fashion retail store in Laguna Beach, Piper Abbate pursues a career as photographer. As a testament to her photography skills, Ms. Abbate?s work reached the final round in a photography competition sponsored by the Barbara Stewart Memorial Photography Scholarship, which was established in honor of the former ESL instructor and passionate photo enthusiast. When not buying vintage clothing and products for TrashPretty, Piper Abbate works as an exhibition and event planner for a wide variety of musical concerts and attends a plethora of live music performances, including Coachella and Bonnaroo.
