Philippe Casciola started his career as a System and Network Engineer for global chemical company Solvay after earning a BTS in IT from ESIG and attending the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts, both located in Paris. At Solvay, he was tasked with managing a UNIX-based platform and local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN). After two years in this role, he joined the French multinational manufacturer Saint-Gobain SA, where he oversaw day-to-day administration of a corporate system and network and deployed technical solutions when necessary. In 1991, Mr. Casciola was hired as a UNIX Systems and Network Manager at Sernam, with which he handled network performance monitoring and similar activities. From 1995 to 1996, he served as a Network Consultant to Euriscom before joining Crédit Agricole as a Network Consultant for the company’s Paris-based division.
In his first position with Crédit Agricole, Philippe Casciola helped design and deploy new network architectures for the company’s operations in Europe, the United States, and Asia, and he oversaw the merging and relocation of networks and systems. In 2000, Mr. Casciola was promoted to IT Infrastructure Manager and moved to New York City to oversee the company’s technical environments there and to serve as an IT project manager. In 2004, he was promoted to his current position.
