Hedge fund manager Peter Kuperman is an independent business owner, gourmand and strong philanthropist. Having graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science, Peter Kuperman began working with the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At CEEPR, Peter Kuperman served as a Database Analyst, working on analyses that focused on the Acid Rain Program of the Environmental Protection Agency. After six years with CEEPR, Peter Kuperman changed to Bounty Services Group LLC, putting his economic studies to use by signing on as a Financial Analyst.
With Bounty Services Group, Peter Kuperman analyzed market conditions in order to set clients up with an appropriate investment strategy to maximize their returns. Using this experience and his accumulated education and history of analysis, Peter Kuperman started QED Benchmark Management in 2004, doing most of the research and human resources work of the company himself.
Aside from his work, Peter Kuperman is also an independent Registered Investment Advisor and a member of the Khan Academy as an Outreach Coordinator, a nonprofit organization that aims to offer free, worthwhile education around the world. He is also involved with the Full Circle Fund and was the President of the Penn Club of Northern California. In addition hosting gourmet dinner parties, Peter Kuperman also enjoys running marathons, swing dancing, and travelling to exotic locations.
