About Peter Kangos
Dr. Peter Kangos is a doctor, father, and founder of Kangos Pediatrics. Since 1989, Dr. Peter Kangos has run a patient-centered practice with his wife Linda Kangos, a pediatric nurse practitioner. In his practice, Dr. Peter Kangos sees children of all ages, from newborns to 18 year-olds.
Part of what makes Dr. Peter Kangos’ practice so unique is the way in which it seeks to empower parents to take their children’s health into their own hands. Dr. Peter Kangos encourages parents to advocate for their children by asking questions and using their own instincts about what is best for their child’s health. As the parents of six of their own children, Dr. Peter Kangos and his wife possess a unique ability to help parents create healthier environments for their families. With that in mind, Dr. Peter Kangos also educates patients about the negative effects of toxin exposure from plastics, metals, insecticides, animal feed, antibiotics, and hormones. In addition to being family-oriented, employees at Kangos Pediatrics are also remarkably flexible. They schedule same day appointments for sick patients and rearrange vaccination dates depending on disease outbreaks. Known for making their patients feel supported in times of uncertainty, Dr. Peter Kangos and his wife Linda are the only people at the clinic who return phone calls, ensuring that customers always receive the best counsel and advice about their children’s health. Lastly, Kangos Pediatrics helps patients understand their insurance coverage; assisting them as they navigate the often confusing technicalities of medical insurance. Kangos Pediatrics takes care to advise patients on what will and will not be paid for so that patients can make informed decisions.
Dr. Peter Kangos holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and a medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Some of his favorite hobbies include swimming, hiking, and playing golf.
