About Peter Jepsen

Peter Jepsen is a professional poker player from Denmark. Jepsen took to poker when under rehabilitation after a knee injury, which he picked up during his stint in the Royal Danish Army. As a pastime, Jepsen started playing poker online with friends at Full Tilt Poker. Soon he started taking his new hobby seriously, playing against some of the best in the business and taking up poker as his profession.

While Peter Jepsen can often be found participating in tournaments and at ring game tables on Full Tilt Poker, he’s still new to the live tournament circuit, but already he has a few impressive performances under his belt. In November 2006, Jepsen headed to St. Kitts for the Caribbean Poker Classic, where he moved up through the field of 155 entrants to book a place on the final table for a chance of winning a chunk of the $930,000 against the best in the world. Peter Jepsen eventually finished 3rd, picking up earnings of $165,000.

The highlight of Jepsen’s career came at the European Poker Tour’s Polish Open in Warsaw in March 2007. Competing against 283 other entrants for a share of the $1,357,799 pool in the z? 15,000 No Limit Hold'em event, Peter Jepsen put up an impressive display to finish on top, leaving the Hyatt Regency with prize money of $415,679.

In 2008, Peter Jepsen made a trip downunder for the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne, where he participated in the A$10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event. Jepsen finished 78th in a field of 780 entrants, picking up $13,185 of the $6.8 million prize pool.
