· Within CNC machine shop and Manual & Automatic assembly areas, initiated and led improvements utilising Lean Thinking, 6Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, 5s, Kaizen, Housekeeping & Shadow boards, one piece flow & Visual Management to increase productivity by over 13% in fewer than 12 months.
· Doubled stock turn measurement within a CNC / Manual machining / Assembly company and completed offshore component resourcing reducing costs by over 60%.
· Driven Quality systems & standards forward, reducing Vendor quality problems for raw castings and finished machined products by over 80%.
· Initiated and led Continuous Improvement culture, empowering staff and developing new Value Streams to reduce CNC machining / assembly lead times by over 90% and individual direct product costs by up to 70%.
· Developed, planned and led programme to move over 240 CNC / manual machine tools / Assembly / Stores facilities to new site, maintaining quality & delivery without any Customer impact.
