Throughout his life and career, versatile finance professional and executive Peter Brandstaetter has maintained involvement in a vast array of educational, professional, charitable, and personal pursuits, striving for excellence in each of his endeavors. Born and raised in Graz, Austria, Peter Brandstaetter was educated at the renowned Bundeshandelsakademie, where he learned the finer points of trade, business, and economics. Graduating from Bundeshandelsakademie in 1974, Peter Brandstaetter entered into a diversified career in Hotel Mangement and finance with professional achievements across the globe.

 

After joining American Express Financial Advisors in 1999, which in 2005 became Ameriprise Financial Advisors, a Fortune 500 Company, Peter Brandstaetter has served as a Franchise Owner for the firm since 2000. Through his comprehensive Financial Planning Approach, Peter offers ideas, solutions, products and techniques to a wide variety of clientele. As a Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial since 1999, Peter Brandstaetter now heads Brandstaetter & Associates, an Ameriprise Financial Platinum Services practice.

 

In this capacity, he and his team of experienced advisors offer integrated solutions for business and personal financial needs, based on a unique and collaborative Dream - Plan - Track approach to financial planning. Recognized for his contributions to charitable causes, Peter Brandstaetter regularly volunteers his energy and resources to several humanitarian groups, especially organizations that support animal rights, such as the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

 

In his leisure time, Peter Brandstaetter enjoys all manner of recreational activities and visits local art museums, eats gourmet food, runs, and goes hiking whenever possible.
