About Pete Kovac
Since 1981, Pete Kovac has led operations as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nicholson Kovac, Inc., a marketing and communications agency he cofounded. Under Pete Kovac’s savvy management, Nicholson Kovac has forged a reputation as one of the top business-to business agencies in the country, and has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named Business-to-Business Agency of the Year by Advertising Age’s BtoB Magazine.
Pete Kovac infuses the company with his enthusiastic, hands-on approach, taking an involved role in the strategic development of many key clients. In addition to managing operations, defining overarching goals, and participating in key strategic planning sessions, Pete Kovac consistently seeks to improve the company’s proprietary system of strategic planning models.
Pete Kovac’s skill and leadership are well recognized in the industry and he has been invited to serve as a guest professor at various colleges and universities. Additionally, Pete Kovac serves on the agency management committee of the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ (AAAA).
In 2004, Pete Kovac was named Business-to-Business Communicator of the Year by the Business Marketing Association (BMA), where he was also honored with an honorary lifetime membership. Three years later, Pete Kovac earned additional recognition from the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA), which awarded him with the 2007 Professional Development Award.
Pete Kovac holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
