Patti Galle - Professional Summary:     West Linn, Oregon, local activist Patti Galle is a dedicated advocate for both human and animal members of her community. Patti Galle worked as the Director of Animal Services for an animal shelter in the Bay Area, and she supports Project POOCH, Inc.,which stands for Project Positive Opportunities, Obvious Change with Hounds. Patti Galle’s involvement with organizations that promote better lives for all types of animals is a testament to her respect for all creatures. In addition to these efforts, Patti Galle wrote a book titled For the Love of Dogs. The 60-page work was published in March of 2009 by Inkwater Press.

Patti Galle’s
community service experience aided her in her campaign for the seat of Mayor of West Linn. When the local newspaper asked her why she was running for office, she replied, “You see things in the community that are unjust, and you want to fix them, then you realize that it won’t get fixed unless you are the one to do it.” Patti Galle’s dedication to the community of West Linn, Oregon, is apparent, and she kept her constituents’ needs at the forefront of her job.

In addition to her role as Mayor, Patti Galle worked as the Interim Director of the West Linn Chamber of Commerce. With many years of experience volunteering, advocating, and leading local organizations, Patti Galle has served her community admirably.
