Dr. Patrick Muffley is a distinguished doctor, author, and teacher specializing in women’s health. At present, Dr. Patrick Muffley practices in Ohio, where he is an attending physician at Embody Wellness Obstetrics & Gynecology in Columbus, Ohio. Moreover, Dr. Patrick Muffley currently serves as Attending OB/GYN at the Grant Medical Center, where he oversees all aspects of inpatient care. Dr. Patrick Muffley graduated in 1997 from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Patrick Muffley went on to complete his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology with the U.S. Navy at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia. During his training, Dr. Patrick Muffley was named Obstetrics and Gynecology Intern of the Year, in testimony to his prodigious gift for and outstanding success in medicine. Dr. Patrick Muffley is also a renowned researcher and has attained prestigious awards for his work in women’s health. Dr. Patrick Muffley won First Place in the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Research Competition, was named first runner-up in the Navy Wide Research Competition, and received the Chairman’s Award for Best Scientific Paper on Gynecology from the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (now the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology).
While Dr. Patrick Muffley is dedicated to all aspects of women’s health, he holds special interest in the treatment of urinary incontinence and works to pioneer techniques in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and hysteroscopic sterilization. Dr. Patrick Muffley maintains active membership in many significant professional organizations, including the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
