And, unlike traditional outsourcing arrangements which typically extend over five years and include strict terms and conditions, managed service agreements tend to be shorter and more flexible to respond to customers changing needs.

 

As an MSP, we permit SME's to rely on the management skills and experience of our staff and centralised systems to meet their evolving IT management requirements so the SME's can focus on their core businesses. As an MSP, we also utilise a pay-as-you-go, subscription pricing model that eliminates the upfront financial commitments found in traditional maintenance and outsourcing arrangements. This makes more sense for many SME's than dedicating a substantial portion of their limited funds and resources to support their ongoing IT management needs on their own or making a long-term commitment to an outsourcing arrangement.

 

To summarise, we offer continuous outsourcing of an IT function as a service, working on a recurring revenue model; we monitor and fix things proactively; and we do all this over the Internet, rather than having to work hands-on at a client's office.

Such services may consist of PC and Server hardware and software support (configuration, troubleshooting, repair and routine maintenance), software updates and revisions/patches, upgrades and migrations, network router and connectivity support, Internet access, website and database maintenance, e-commerce support, cabling and set-up, monitoring various infrastructure and security logs, ensuring antivirus software and proper authentication and access control processes are configured and functioning properly, maintaining firewalls, VPNs, etc.

 

Our range and levels of services offered allow the client to choose the right mix of on-site, remote, network and helpdesk support to fit their specific situation and needs. We have packaged our service into a bronze, silver and gold offering to reflect the level of support required by the client. On top of this we have divided the client’s company size into bands - small, medium and large, which enables us to offer exactly the same service to a small client as we would to a large client, the only difference being the cost.
