About Northside Family Worship Center
Northside Family Worship Center - Products and Services:
Established in 2004, the Northside Family Worship Center is an Assemblies of God institution. The Assemblies of God is the largest Pentecostal denomination, with 63 million followers worldwide. More than 1.7 million Americans attend Assemblies of God services. Passionate, empowering, and transforming worship characterizes Northside Family Worship Center. The contemporary services are held in Cumming, Georgia, north of Atlanta. Northside's vision is for the family to worship together, following the church's faith and traditions in a modern context. With a world in their hearts, Northside encourages congregants to support international outreach, and the church is involved in mission-based programs, including supporting Bible colleges, founding churches, and caring for the poor. Pastors David and Robin Houtsma, leaders of Northside Family Worship Center, have been married for more than 13 years and have two daughters. David Houtsma became a full-time minister in 1993, graduating from the Christian Life International Bible College. After founding a church in Siberia and Bible colleges in Africa, David Houtsma returned to the United States to begin a youth ministry, which quickly grew from 80 to 200 members, at his father's church in northern California. David Houtsma founded Northside Family Worship Center in 2003 while completing his law degree at Georgia State University.
