About Norman Arkoff
With a 20+ year professional portfolio, Norman Arkoff is a proven International Business Consultant engaging numerous companies across the globe in various stages of growth.
Norman's career spans both ends of the technology spectrum, from software organizations that create the technology, to IT departments that procure and adopt the technology. This broad set of experience includes software analysis, professional services, technical sales, product marketing, customer support, and partner/alliance management.
Most recently, Norman consulted with J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and Wells Fargo Advisors (Wachovia Securities), where he led a team sourcing and implementing a Web content management application for Wachovia's corporate intranet supporting over 350,000 pages and documents and 60,000 financial advisors. This effort improved the publishing process and addressed SEC and NASD imposed records retention and compliance mandates.
Prior to Wells Fargo Advisors, Norman managed the entire product execution lifecycle for two core products at leading Enterprise Content Management provider, FileNet Corporation. His efforts directly contributed to beating revenue goals by 157%.
Norman joined FileNet from Web Content Management pioneer, Vignette Corporation, where he was responsible for closing Web content management applications to diverse industry verticals. To date, Norman has contributed to closing over $40 million in software licensing revenue.
Prior to joining Vignette, Norman spent seven years implementing enterprise-wide retail software applications with Retek Incorporated and GERS Retail Systems. Norman's accomplishments include managing 21 enterprise system implementations and reducing average implementation time and costs by 50% to mobile communication carriers and retailers worldwide.
Norman holds a M.B.A. from the University of San Diego, a B.A. from the University of California San Diego, and has studied at Oxford University.
