Nina Dio - Professional Summary:   

Vera Nina Dio combines artistic talent with academic dedication to pursue her calling as a graphic designer. Based in San Francisco, Dio earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Illustration from Academy of Art University. Vera Nina Dio maintains a productive freelance career, consistently garnering high-profile projects for a number of international clients.

 

In 2006, Vera Nina Dio interned with electronics processor Intel, where she expanded her knowledge of technical programs such as Keynote, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Following the internship, Vera Nina Dio utilized her technique in these digital tools to work with digital cable company Comcast.

Extensively accomplished and proficient in technical design instruments, Vera Nina Dio currently specializes in developing smart phone programs. Her most recent project involved creating a User Interface (UI) design for San Francisc-based music startup company Barista Entertainment. In addition to developing its iPhone application, Dio manages contracts with large and local record labels and creates PowerPoint presentations to acquire venture capital funding.

In addition to furthering her education at Academy of Art University, Vera Nina Dio currently serves as a member of the Marin Association of Female Executives and as in-house graphic designer for the Northern California Music & Art Culture Center. In her leisure time, Vera Nina Dio hosts a website and blog, I Am The It Girl Designs, to showcase her professional and personal portfolio.

PowerPoint Design : Created PowerPoint for VP, System Development & Architecture of eBay to be shown at the International Conference of Web Engineering in 2008 to over 2,000 people. It was a 40 slide deck created on a an extremely tight turnaround of two days.
