Honing his entrepreneurial spirit at a young age in his native Greece, Nikos Mouyiaris first began earning his own money by selling candy and charging his classmates to peek into a slide viewer. Years later, in 1975, after a brief tenure at Chesebrough-Ponds Cosmetic Company, Nikos Mouyiaris established MANA Products, Inc., in New York City, a leading manufacturer of private-label cosmetics and hair care and skin care products worldwide.
Beyond his responsibilities at MANA, Nikos Mouyiaris actively supports his local community and his Greek heritage. Mr. Mouyiaris donates much of his spare time to Hellenic-American organizations such as the Pancyprian Association of America, which he serves as a member of the board of trustees, and the Hellenic American Leadership Council, which he helped create. He is also an active member of the Greek American Lobby and has earned an Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award for his ongoing efforts in support of the community.
After graduating from high school in Greece, Nikos Mouyiaris emigrated to the United States and earned a BS in chemistry from St. John’s University and an MS in chemistry from Rutgers University.
