Nichole Coscia M.B.A

Nichole Coscia is a promising student, currently earning her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Jack Welch Management Institute through Chancellor University while working as an accountant. In her most recent employment, Ms. Coscia worked for the National Credit Union Administration in Boston, Massachusetts, as a Field Examiner supervising various credit unions. As an auditor for the government, Nichole Coscia’s reviews of policies, lending practices, financials, and business approaches for credit unions help to enforce the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970. Prior to her auditing position, Nichole Coscia worked for Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., as an Accounting/Finance Intern. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Coscia reviewed the profit-and-loss statements for the Stamford, Connecticut, branch on a weekly and monthly basis. Her analysis of the company’s ledger helped make certain that funds were billed and distributed to the proper departments and employees, and her knowledge of the inner workings of the company allowed her to work with upper management on budgets and trends.

 

Nichole Coscia began attending the private college Sacred Heart University in 2005 following her graduation from Wakefield Memorial High School. A talented athlete recognized for her prowess on the ice from a young age, Ms. Coscia was recruited to play for Sacred Heart University’s NCAA Division I Women’s Ice Hockey team. In addition to achieving new levels of athleticism in the collegiate arena, Nichole Coscia continued to excel in the classroom, maintaining a steady GPA and earning dean’s list honors in her senior year. In the pursuit of a career in accounting, Ms. Coscia’s college education included courses and training in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Her training also encompassed specialization in Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE). Through this IRS-certified program, Ms. Coscia was able to gain skills pertinent to her major and to work as a volunteer after graduation, helping organize and prepare returns for older taxpayers. Nichole Coscia is part of several professional organizations dedicated to accounting, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. She currently resides in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
