New Resin

New Resin, a reggae/rock/funk trio, out of the San Fernando Valley, California, has crafted a sound that, unmistakably, goes hand in hand with the culture in which they grew up in. Southern California’s backyard jam sessions, blues skies, and street mentality allowed New Resin to seamlessly employ classic techniques previously used by dub/reggae music, 60’s and 70’s funk, as well as west-coast punk rock while maintaining their own sound and never mimicking any one band’s style. This is not an easy feat in today’s music world.

New Resin’s background includes, brothers, Luis and Peter of former reggae/rock band, D.F.M. and longtime friend, Rudy, from former punk-rock band Fozzy’s Hero. With Luis on vocals and guitar, Peter on bass and vocals, and Rudy on drums and percussions, New Resin is well qualified for the music world in which they are ready to take on with a fresh new sound!
