Despite starting out at Clemson as a walk-on player without a scholarship, Nelson Faerber worked diligently to prove himself as a dependable, performance-driven reserve wideout. After earning the respect of his teammates and making a number of important plays, Faerber was awarded a full football scholarship in 2007. Though courted by the U.S. Air Force Academy and U.S. Naval Academy teams, Faerber counts his move to play with the Tigers as the best decision he could have made.
