A music and entertainment executive, Neil Moffitt serves as Chairman and CEO of Angel Management Group, which provides nightlife consulting, event production, interactive design, and artist management internationally. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company owns, manages, and markets more than 20 nightlife venues, including Pure in Caesar’s Palace, LAX Nightclub in Luxor Las Vegas, Dick’s Last Resort, and Coyote Ugly Las Vegas. After Mr. Moffitt arrived in Las Vegas in 2004, he quickly made his mark as Managing Partner of ICE. Over the course of one year, he increased attendance at the struggling nightclub.
The venue’s transformation became the subject of a television reality series The Club, increasing Neil Moffitt’s recognition. He also garnered acknowledgement from a U.K. magazine as one of the Top Five Most Influential People in British music. During his tenure as the owner and operator of several successful bars in the United Kingdom, he foresaw the popularity of electronic music before it became mainstream. Partnering with the Godskitchen brand, Neil Moffitt created the nightclub Code, attracting a record-breaking crowd of 15,000 for opening night.
From that success, Neil Moffitt produced arena events throughout the United Kingdom with his company, Angel Music Group, and entered the music festival business. He presented GlobalGathering, Escape into the Park, and Hi:Fi North & South. Subsequently, Mr. Moffitt forged a joint venture agreement with the e-commerce and live-entertainment company Live Nation Worldwide, Inc., to take the GlobalGathering brand around the world. he also licensed his music with Virgin Records/Thorn EMI and Godskitchen albums rapidly achieved gold status.
With the world’s number-one DJ, Tiësto, Neil Moffitt co-produced Tiësto in Concert, an arena event that sold out in several major cities. He brought in many new clients for Angel Management Group, including the MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas and the Ameristar Casinos, Inc., chain, expanding with the acquisition of the nightlife-entertainment firm Pure Management Group. Neil Moffitt sold the U.K. operations of his business in 2008, reportedly for USD $7 million.
