Natwan Logan - Professional Summary:  

 

A resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Natwan Logan is completing his Master of Arts in Human Services at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Concurrent to his studies, Natwan Logan is also a Crisis Counselor with Affiliated Santé Group in Lanham, Maryland, where he contributes to the ongoing mental and psychiatric health of his community. Natwan Logan performs evaluations, assesses cases for county and local police departments, and provides families with information and psychiatric resources. Natwan Logan began at Affiliated Santé Group in 2008. From 2000 to 2006, Natwan Logan works as a Police Officer in the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. In addition to his emergency and investigatory responsibilities, Natwan Logan gave testimony in criminal and civil court proceedings and conducted meetings for community members. Natwan Logan was twice honored with a CHAMPS Award for his service and dedication. Before his work at the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, Natwan Logan served as a Police Officer at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Natwan Logan has also worked for the United States Navy as an Administrative Specialist and as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard. A candidate for graduation from Liberty University in 2010, Natwan Logan earned a Ph.D. from Grace Bible College and Seminary in Morrisville, North Carolina. To relax, Natwan Logan enjoys reading (especially the works of Derek Walcott and Edwin Abbott) and going to the movies. Natwan Logan stays active by swimming and playing basketball.
